Here they are! The last shall be first.
I did this collage very quickly in Pages. I will go back and fix the sizes on the desk top. It's a bit clumsy on my iPad. I think it still looks pretty impressive.
Next, to scale them up. I plan to use these 6"x6" pieces as thumbnail sketches for larger paintings. I have already begun with Muckross Garden (tall trees).
Beautiful paintings make a beautiful collage! I look forward to seeing these on a larger scale.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laurelle, hopefully you won't have long to wait.
DeleteGorgeous paintings, beautiful collage !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing the challenge !
Thanks Martine. This is the first time I put together a collage. I couldn't figure out mail chimp on my iPad so I used Pages.
DeleteDenise, they are all gorgeous. I didn't realize they were small. Maybe because you post such large images, which is great by the way! Or maybe because the depth in your in your work gives the feeling of so much space!! I so love your skies, your light, your joyful celebration of the land! Ireland has long been on my dream list, (I have Irish blood), and your work makes me long for it all the more!
ReplyDeleteI am half asleep (woke up in the middle of the night) but I can't see where to sign up for your blog. How can I follow your posts?
Thanks Sheila.
DeleteI am not sure how you would follow me... I will figure it out! I know just enough about blogging to get my post on and that's about it,
I know what you mean Denise, there is so much to learn :)
DeleteLovely paintings, Denise. I love the way the paint in your paintings looks as though it's having a good time on the canvas. Great job!
ReplyDeleteSharon
Thanks S. Congrats to you too!
DeleteI love the thought of the paint having a good time on the canvas! Fabulous!
