October 1, 2016 Collage of 29/30


Here they are! The last shall be first.
I did this collage very quickly in Pages. I will go back and fix the sizes on the desk top. It's a bit clumsy on my iPad. I think it still looks pretty impressive.
Next, to scale them up. I plan to use these 6"x6" pieces as thumbnail sketches for larger paintings. I have already begun with Muckross Garden (tall trees).

      Thanks Martine. This is the first time I put together a collage. I couldn't figure out mail chimp on my iPad so I used Pages.

    Denise, they are all gorgeous. I didn't realize they were small. Maybe because you post such large images, which is great by the way! Or maybe because the depth in your in your work gives the feeling of so much space!! I so love your skies, your light, your joyful celebration of the land! Ireland has long been on my dream list, (I have Irish blood), and your work makes me long for it all the more!
    I am half asleep (woke up in the middle of the night) but I can't see where to sign up for your blog. How can I follow your posts?
