Day 8 - Similar Pairings




It seems easier to make the pear look realistic in the thumbnail drawing. I get carried away with the luxuriousness of the paint.  I'm finding the acrylic is drying before I'm finished. I need to use my spray bottle or use retarder with my paint.

    1. Thanks for your comment Jill. I under painted this piece with Naphthol Crimson which set a bright tone! I was trying to keep my strokes loose.

    1. Truth be told Marty, the pear looked like an oyster for a while! I had to really look at where the shadows are. Thanks for your feedback.
